*Leslie M. Salkin, D.D.S., M.Ed.

Dr. Leslie Salkin joined North Penn Periodontal Associates in 1981 merging his practice from a neighboring community. Dr. Salkin was active in the field of Periodontology through service to organized dentistry, continuing education for the professional community, and teaching appointments at both the Temple University School of Dentistry and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Salkin brought 40 years of experience in Periodontics and Implants to the practice. Aside from teaching, he also devoted a great deal of time training in the latest techniques and therapies for his patients.

Dr. Salkin was a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry where he earned a DDS in 1966. After serving two years in the armed services he attended New York University School of Dentistry and earned a Certificate of Specialty in Periodontology and a M.Ed. two years earlier with a concentration in group dynamics.

Dr. Salkin was a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He also held Attending and Associate positions at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University Hospital and VA Hospital of Wilmington.
